Zomig is indicated for the acute treatment of migraine with or without aura in adults, where a clear diagnosis of migraine has been established. Zomig is not intended for the prophylactic therapy of migraine or for use in the management of hemiplegic or basilar migraine. Zomig is not indicated for cluster headache.

  • At 30 minutes, the response rate was significantly better than with placebo: 31.5% with Zomig Nasal Spray vs. 12.1% with placebo, increasing to 69.0% at 2 hours vs. 30.8% with placebo (P<.01 vs. placebo for both time points)4-6
  • The efficacy of Zomig Nasal Spray 5 mg was further supported by an interim analysis of another similarly designed trial. The 2-hour headache response rates for the first 210 subjects in that study for Zomig 5 mg (n=108) and placebo (n=102) were 70% and 47%, respectively (P=0.0006)4
